November has arrived, and I'm joining my friends on flickr with a 30 day gratitude project. There is so much to be grateful on a daily basis and this is a good time to pay special attention to those things and document them further. So let it begin.
1|30. This boy.
November gratitude of course includes this face. So grateful for who he is. For my time with him. For his infectious laugh, and for the way he loves me. For his hand in mine. For every "I love you" . For my special "mom time" with him. My life would just not be complete without him in it.
2|30. My Country.
Today I am grateful for my country. For the freedom that I enjoy. For those who continue to fight for it, and for the swelling I feel in my heart when I see the red, white and blue flag waving in the wind. Just like my girl, I love America!
3|30. Time.
On this day I'm grateful for time. For the gift that it is. For the slowing hands of the clock in my recent days. For spending it with the people I love most, and for the opportunity to steal some of it with my camera to save up for a rainy day. I'm grateful for every second that I laugh, for every minute that I learn, and for every hour that I spend walking forward in life discovering my purpose. As the clock continues to tick, I continue becoming who I want to be. Today I'm grateful for the hands of time.

Great post and a great reminder for us to take time to be grateful for all that's around us.
What a great project to do for November! Love it! All those pretty leaves in the last shot are so colorful. I love those autumn colors.
Looove these pics so much! The walking away shot with the leaves - just beautiful! I just started a journal called 1,000 Blessings. (self-explanatory, right?) :-) I love this time of year!
Do you mind my asking how you processed your pics from this post? (the collage at the bottom)

I LOVE when you process that way; it has such a FEEL to it. I created a similar action in PS(but not as good as yours), and it was one of those things that was totally lost in my little crash. Ugh!
Thanks so much for your comment and well-wishes for getting PS back up and running! :-) What a mess! Happy Thursday to ya! :-)
I loved this! I think I could echo every one of these things. Thank you for articulating so beautifully!

Thank you so much for your email! I sent you a reply back...hopefully it came thru. (The neurotic part of me always worries I'll wind up in someone's spam folder, and they'll think I didn't respond - LOL!)
I was just wandering around your blog, and came across your family picture - what a wonderful family! I don't think I've seen the 5 of you together. Fantastic! :-)
I echo some of the very same things, trying to soak up all I can. And as my kids are getting older and my next birthday is the big '50' I'm trying to figure out where I fit in to the scheme of things.
