The assignment for Picture Inspiration class this week was couples. I really struggled with it. It could be any kind of couple. People, two of the same object, or two of something different. The point of the assignment was to artfully pose the couple to show their connection. Hmm... after much contemplating this is what I came up with. A spoon and a fork. They seemed like a likely couple, and Seej and I thought it would be fun to make a wedding party for the couple with their supporters in the background. We chose some who were tall and slender and some who were short and stout. We also chose some that were a little more ornate. So true to life, right? I think they make a beautiful couple myself, and the best part of the assignment was all of the laughing that Seej and I did while setting this shot up. She was embarrassed every time a car passed by observing us tinkering around with these spoons. I guess they did look a little weird all dressed up in the garden, but all of the ogling we received was well worth it. It turned out just as I had hoped. There wouldn't be any fun in doing the assignment if we didn't add a little creativity to it. :)
