The focus this week at I Heart Faces is all about the hands. I took a series of photos last week of my daughter with this theme in mind, and this one seems to be the best fit. My girl is still in elementary school and her hands serve in a variety of ways. First and foremost they are always fashionable! Nails painted and proper accessories are always a priority. Second they are busy. They are musical, hard-working, soft and serving. I think this image depicts her life as a young girl perfectly. Fun, young, and vibrant with reality right in the palm of her hand reminding her of the real world and her responsibilities. To check out the other creative entries head over to I Heart Faces.

I love this one..so much character in this picture...and the processing is wonderful!
Marv, I love the new look on the blog. I also love the "hands" picture. It shows so much personality. I never thought about photographing my boys' hands. I'm not sure I would capture much except a lot of mud and dirty fingernails!
What a fantastic portrait. I don’t even need to see her face to know so much about who this spunky girl is. I love how her hands are speaking to us literally and figuratively.
Ha ha! What a great shot. Reminds me of when I was in school and had to write reminders on my hands!
I love all of the little details in this picture.... Almost like a treasure hunt! Great photo!
This is perfect! The texture of the jeans. The colors. The little details. I love it!
