Today I will cheer for my little girl. I will encourage her to stay positive and do her best because really that's all she can do, and I want to see a smile on her face when what she has been dreaming of becomes a reality.
She did it. Last week my girl who usually plays 1st base got to pitch her first game. She is the third string pitcher and has been working her guts out to pitch in a game, and last week she did it. She was nothing short of amazing. She pitched 4 innings and they only got one hit off of her. She was in the zone, and it put a smile on my face to watch not only her dream of finally getting the opportunity come true, but to watch her knock that opportunity right out of the ballpark. I couldn't have been more proud!

That is so awesome - and it's such an amazing feeling to be in the pitcher's spot. I remember being there myself. Great capture!
The look of determination in her eyes is just great! You can totally tell she is in "the zone." I bet she loved every minute of pitching. :)
